Fundamental Movement Skills
Today our Korfball tournament was rained off. We headed into the hall to practice our fundamental movement skills. We did this through a range of races. It was great fun and the children enjoyed the competition. They were so quick the pictures are a tad blurry.

Today in Skylarks we have created our own multiplication board games. We then got the chance to play our own board game and lots of our friends. We worked really hard on these and they look amazing!

Making Switches
Our topic in science this term has been electricity. The children have been enjoyed learning about circuits, conductors and where it comes from. Today we made switches to see how the flow of electricity can stop by using a switch. The children were busy making toggle switches and push to make switches. Well done Skylarks' you all made two working switches!
Robot Day
On Tuesday we had a fantastic day dressed as Robots. Part of our fun day was to build a giant robot!
The challenge was to build a robot bigger than Miss Burdett, which they definitely managed and more.
A big thank you to all the parents that were able to join in and help.

Korfball with Ross Lenton
Skylarks were lucky enough today to be visited by Ross Lenton who is a coach from Norwich Knights Korfball club. We had a great afternoon passing, shooting and playing some games.
Column Subtraction using Starbursts
Today in Maths we used Starbursts to help us understand the column method. The question was 130 - 26 = 104. The children then used this knowledge to complete some brilliant work!
