Performance Poetry
During our poetry unit in English we learnt a verse from poem 'The Magic Box'. Children were allowed to create actions to help them remember the poem. I was really impressed with the performances.
Bedtime Stories Night
To celebrate World Book day we held a 'Bedtime Stories' evening where children came back to school in pajamas with their favourite teddy. We had lots of fun celebrating by sharing our books and creating new front covers for them. Of course we had our hot chocolates with marshmallows and biscuits too!

Wormery Fun
Today was the day of our wormery project. We waterproofed up and headed out to the garden where we found all the stones, compost and most importantly the worms. The children got stuck in to digging for worms and they all have at least two worms in their wormery.
Chinese New Year
On Wednesday we had a fun afternoon learning all about the Chinese New Year and creating our own dragon with the Robins. We have now displayed it between the two classrooms.

Editing Stations
Editing is something in English that is very tricky. We are trying really hard at this in Skylarks and looking at individual things at different stations so we know what and how we should be editing.
